Tasty Bites Durham was honored to be invited by echoNC teens to provide a delicious meal for the community. We served fresh fajitas with rice, yummy veggies, warm tortillas, and refreshing drinks.

Thanksgiving Groceries
On November 23, 2025...
Tasty Bites Durham raised $800 to provide Thanksgiving groceries and turkeys to Hispanic/Latino families affected by increased ICE activity across the Triangle, which left many afraid to leave home and unable to work. Thanks to our incredible volunteers, we delivered free groceries directly to families, bringing comfort and hope. We are deeply grateful to everyone who made this effort possible!

Nuestro Barrio: Posada Event
On December 21, 2025...
Tasty Bites Durham was honored to support the Nuestro Barrio Liberation Center's Posada celebration for families and children in East Durham. During a time of fear and uncertainty, the event served as a reminder that our community is stronger together and that no family stands alone.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we were able to provide and deliver toys and clothes to help make the holiday season brighter for local children. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this possible.

Paper Street At Lakewood
On May 30, 2026...
Tasty Bites Durham was honored to be invited by echoNC teens to provide free food and drinks at the 2nd Paper Street Charrette behind The Scrap Exchange. Community members shared their ideas for the future of the space, making their voices heard.
We were grateful to serve fresh tacos with pico de gallo, rice, and drinks while seeing neighbors and teens come together to connect, share, and build a vision for their community. Thank you, echoNC teens, for having us!

East Durham Community Fair

Tasty Bites Durham hosted its first annual Back-to-School & Food Giveaway at Merrick-Moore Park. Thanks to our incredible community partners and volunteers, we provided families with groceries, hot meals, and school supplies to help them prepare for the new school year. We're excited to continue growing and serving our community for years to come.
